Noëmie Leprince-Ringuet
Noëmie Leprince-Ringuet is an associate in the Global Climate Program, based in the London Office. She works towards ensuring the enhancement of climate ambition in a wide range of countries, and towards successful global progress through the international climate negotiations, the UNSG Summit and other fora. She is also WRI's focal point in Europe for COP 26.
Prior to joining WRI, she worked in India in the fields of climate change science and policy for 10 years. She held International Expert positions at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) in Delhi, seconded from the French agency for technical cooperation and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. There, she focused on Franco-Indian policy and diplomacy in the lead up to COP 21, and subsequently on enhancing climate ambition in India through analytical work and advancing political strategy. From 2010 to 2014, she was part of Technical Support Unit of the Synthesis Report of the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report. She has also worked at the Delegation of the European Union to India, Nepal and Bhutan, and at the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris.
Noëmie holds a Masters in European Affairs from Sciences Po Paris, and a Master of Arts with Honours from the University of Edinburgh.
She lives in Islington, United Kingdom, with her two cats. She loves traveling and is passionate about why we do what we do as human beings.
