Maria Antonia Tigre
Maria Antonia Tigre is a fellow anEnvironmental Program Fellow at the Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice, helping non-profits from all over the world get legal advice in environmental matters. She has also served as a fellowat the World Resources Institute, developing a framework for governance for sustainable cities in developing countries.
Tigre began her career as a lawyer at boutique law firms in Rio de Janeiro, and then served as inhouse counsel to major infrastructure companies. She specialized on environmental permitting, environmental impact assessments, sustainability and legal compliance. Subsequently Tigre worked at the United Nations with small island states on issues related to sea level rise and climate change.
