Anmol Vanamali
Anmol Vanamali has a diverse professional and educational background spanning various geographies and sectors. Currently, as the financing strategies director with the Vermont Energy Investment Corporation (VEIC) he is responsible for designing and implementing financial mechanisms for facilitating investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in Washington DC (in association with the DC Sustainable Energy Utility) and other cities across the U.S. Prior to VEIC, he was the director of Finance & Policy Analysis at the Center for Clean Air Policy (CCAP) and was a leading voice in areas of climate finance and clean energy. In this role he led multiple complex advisory assignments in Asia and South America, published many well-regarded papers and contributed to leading global affairs magazines and newspapers on similar topics. He brings with himself immense knowledge of public-private partnership (P3) projects and renewable energy investments based on his roles at Gammon Infrastructure Projects Limited in Mumbai and the Macquarie Group in New York, respectively. He has a Bachelor of Sciences degree from PSG College of technology (Coimbatore), Masters in Business Administration from Sydenham Institute of Management (Mumbai) and Masters in International Affairs from the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University (New York).
